A sociable new group on the Suir
South East Community Croquet is bringing the game to Passage East as one of three groups along the Waterford coast. Croquet is as much about the chat and the company as the competition — come for the croquet, stay for the craic. It's a lovely, low-key way to meet your neighbours and enjoy an afternoon outdoors by the water.
Who it's for
Adults of all genders and abilities are welcome, whatever your experience. Croquet is one of the only games where anyone can genuinely compete as an equal, because tactics and a steady hand beat strength every time. You don't need any kit — we provide the mallets and balls, and we'll teach you the basics.
The group is now forming — be one of the first members
We're gathering our first members in Passage East right now. Register your interest and we'll be in touch as soon as the first taster sessions are scheduled. No commitment, no cost to register.
How to get started
Register your interest below, come to a free taster session in the village, borrow a mallet and learn the basics, then play your first game that day. To read up first, see how to play croquet.
We're also forming groups in Dunmore East and Cheekpoint if one of those is closer to you.
