A croquet legacy that goes back to 1924

Back in 1924, Lord Waterford dedicated Dunmore East Park specifically for croquet and tennis. A hundred years on, South East Community Croquet is picking up that thread — bringing the friendly, sociable game back to the village for a new generation of players, neighbours and visitors.

Free of charge — booking essential

There's no cost to come along: equipment and instruction are provided free. Because places at each taster session in Dunmore East Park are limited, booking is essential via WhatsApp to Michael on 086 822 5301.

How to get started

It couldn't be simpler. Message Michael on WhatsApp to book your spot, come along to a free taster session in Dunmore East Park, borrow a mallet and learn the basics, then play your first game that day. If you'd like to read up beforehand, see how to play croquet.

Prefer to play elsewhere along the coast? We're also forming groups in Passage East and Cheekpoint.
